ATHLETE INVITATION


USA Modern Pentathlon is delighted to invite a delegation of your country to participate in the 2012 Modern Pentathlon World Cup 1 to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, from March 6 – 11, 2012.

The Charlotte LOC will offer training opportunities for swimming, shooting, and fencing on-site starting March 7, 2012. There will be an opportunity for a training camp in the United States prior to World Cup # 1. Arrival date is February 13, 2012. Space is limited. RULES: The competition will be carried out according to the UIPM rules.

  • Swimming: 50 meter indoor 8 lane pool
  • Fencing: 10 pistes
  • Combined event: 38 Hit & Miss (H&M) laser targets / natural surface. According to UIPM rules, LASER PISTOL SHOOTING has been selected. This selection by the organizers has been made in the best interest of Modern Pentathlon.
